Admissions
ROA receives referrals from parents, families, school counselors, psychiatrists, mental health workers and community service providers. Admissions are scheduled throughout the year. Gaining admission is a three-stage process. First an initial interview is conducted to exchange information about services and needs. Students and their caretakers are encouraged to visit the campus and meet staff. Second, transcripts, grades and evaluation records from previous schools or service providers are reviewed and desired services are discussed. Third, program recommendations are made and if the student is accepted a service contract and an individualized academic plan are developed.
